Modified microscope, soundfile, brochure
Edition of 3 + 2 AP
Microscope from the MIT labs with the eyepiece replaced by a headphone speaker playing a vocoder version of the song Every Breath You Take. Presented alongside a take-away publication of a conversation between the artist and Evelyn Fox-Keller, professor of History and Philosophy of Science at MIT and author of The Biological Gaze. The conversation explores the construction of reality based on what one sees with the mind’s eye.
